A clean and gentlemanly player, Jean Ratelle was considered one of the most impressive and technically skilled NHL players in the 1970's. For over 9 years, as a part of the famous "GAG" (goal-a-game) line where he played with Rod Gilbert and Vic Hadfield, Ratelle demonstrated an example of extraordinary teamwork. Although their NY Rangers never won the Stanley Cup, Ratelle and his teammates were one of the most productive lines of their time. |
