Biography:
Grew up in the Proleter Zrenjivac (Yugoslavia), later joined KK Zadar (Yugoslavia) and made his debut in 1990-91. After two season with KK Zadar (1990-92), in 1992-93 moved to Italy at Pallacanestro Stefanel Trieste (Italy). After two seasons in Trieste moved with the whole team to Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano (Italy). In 1995 was selected by the Sacramento Kings as 2nd round Draft pick (#51) and after playing the 1995-96 again with Pallacanestro Olimpia Milano (Italy), in 1996-97 moves to Spain and signs with Real Madrid. After two season in Madrid, in 1998-99 he moves to Greece and signs with Panathinaikos AO Athens, where he played since. Contract expiring in 2000-01. Member of the Yugoslav National Team, won the silver medal at the 1996 Olimpic Games, the gold medal at the 1995 and 1997 European Championship, the bronze medal at the 1999 European Championship and the gold medal at the 1998 World Championship. With his clubs has won the Italian Championship and Italian Cup in 1995-96 (Stefanel Milano), the Greek Championship in 1998-99 (Panathinaikos Athens) and the Eurocup in 1996-97 (Real Madrid). Voted as Yugoslav Athlete of the Year in 1998. Has played the 1993 Lega-ACB All Star Game, the 1994 ULEB All Star Game and the 1996 and 1997 ACB All Star Game and the 1999-00 Greek All Star Game and the 1999-00 EuroStar Game. In 1997-98 was selected as ACB MVP of the year.
