| Amiran Kardanov was born in Russia, on the 19th August 1976. He came to Greece when he was 19 years old and became an athlete of Heraklis Club of Peristeri. He is an athlete of free-style wrestling. In 1998, he won the bronze medal in the European Championship. The biggest distinction for the athlete and one of the most pleasant surprises for the Greek team was the bronze medal in his category in the Olympic Games in Sidney in 2000. In 2001 he won the silver medal in the European Championship. |
