| Brazilian driver born in 1946. He raced with Formula Ford, the Lotus team, McLaren and Fittipaldi Automotive, his brother’s team. He then left formula to drive in an Indycar team and generally raced until an injury that came from a light aircraft crash. He has won the Indianapolis 500 twice along with the CART championship in 1989. He has also won the World Championship twice (1972 and 1974). |
