Michael Adams joined the NBA 23 years old in the 1985-86 season. He spent 11 seasons in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings, Washington Bullets, and the Denver Nuggets before finishing his career with the Charlotte Hornets following the 1995-96 season. During his playing days, Adams averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game. He recorded his best career results with Denver during the 1990-91 season when he averaged 26.5 points per game and 10.5 assists per game. Adams also made at least one three-point field goal in 79 consecutive games, placing him second on the NBA all-time record list behind Dana Barros with 89. From 1999 onwards he had been involved in the coaching side of basketball until he turned to business in 2002. |
