Ronnie O'Sullivan is the youngest player to get 147 ( RECORD ). He was 15 years and 98 days when he did so during the last 16 of the 1991 English amateur championship in the ( Southern Area ) at Aldershot, Hants. Ronnie made his first century when he was the age of 10. In the 1997 Embassy Snooker World Championship he racked up a 147 in just 5 min 20 seconds ( RECORD ). In 1993 when O'Sullivan won the UK Championship he became the youngest player ever to win a ranking event at the age of ( 17 year 11 months ) ( RECORD ). In the same year he won the WBSA Young Player of the Year award , then the following year he became Player of the Year. He beat Ken Doherty in the final of the 1998 Benson & Hedges Irish Masters, but he was later stripped of the title after failing a drug test. During the summer of 1992, Ronnie won 38 consecutive matches in qualifying competition. He also claims that he compiled a century break with his left hand in practice. Ronnie's last ranking event title came in the Regal Scottish Masters 2000 against Mark Williams. Ronnie hammered Mark 9 - 2 in the final. Earlier on in the competition he racked up his fourth 147 against the Australian Quinten Hann, which took him just 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Ronnie has to be one of the most talented players to pick up a cue, being able to play with both hands.
